UPG PRODUCT TO APPEAR IN BROOKSTONE® HARD TO FIND TOOLS ™ CATALOG

Carrollton, TX – (Business Wire) – July 11, 2006 – Universal Power Group, Inc. (“UPG”), a wholly-owned sub sid iary of Zunicom, Inc., (OTCBB:ZNCM), announced that one of its products will be featured in Brookstone®’s Hard-to-Find Tools™ catalog this fall. The Brookstone® Hard-to-Find Tools catalog offers clever solutions that help make life at home more enjoyable, indoors and out.

Appearing in the fall issue of the Brookstone® Hard-to-Find-Tools™ catalog will be UPG’s 12V DC 23” flexible light that turns any 12V DC receptacle into a light source.
